Los Angeles, July 2 (NationPress) Hollywood icon Brad Pitt, who is currently garnering significant acclaim for his role in ‘F1’, remains a colossal figure in the entertainment industry. Yet, even he experiences moments of being starstruck.
The 61-year-old Academy Award winner shared this revelation on the July 2 episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, discussing the two renowned female co-stars who left him in awe, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
“When I first met Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, I was. Yeah,” Brad Pitt remarked about his ‘Thelma & Louise’ co-stars. “I got over it quickly, though.”
According to ‘People’, the 1991 film was Pitt’s first significant role, portraying the charming J.D., who woos and sleeps with Davis’ Thelma before making off with the friends’ cash.
“Geena (Davis) was incredibly sweet, kind, and delicate,” Brad Pitt reflected on filming his intimate scene with Davis during a 2023 interview with W Magazine. “That love scene took us two days to shoot. She looked out for me.”
While Pitt was still on the rise at that time, he also had a lasting impact on the film’s leading ladies.
“When I watched the film, what struck me most, besides his good looks and impressive physique, was his sense of humor. He really brought the character to life beyond what was written in the script,” Susan Sarandon shared with Extra in 2021. “I thought, ‘This guy is intriguing; he’s not just another pretty face.’”
“He approached it as a character role, and as evident from his career, he continued to explore new depths in ways that he didn’t have to, given his appearance,” she added.
