Mumbai, July 4 (NationPress) Actress Helly Shah is gearing up to demonstrate her acting prowess by tackling two remarkably distinct roles at the same time. In her upcoming film "Deda", Shah will portray a pregnant woman, while she will also take on the role of an air hostess in the quirky comedy "Zyada Mat Udd".
A significant challenge she encountered while embodying these contrasting characters was the need to manage her physical appearance. For her role as a pregnant woman in "Deda", Shah had to gain weight and adopt the body language typical of expectant mothers. Conversely, for her air hostess role in "Zyada Mat Udd", she needed to maintain a toned physique.
Shah described the experience of juggling such diverse roles as both exhilarating and draining. She elaborated, “For Deda, I had to gain weight to fit the character, while for Zyada Mat Udd, I needed to quickly get back into shape. Balancing the diets and appearances for both roles was incredibly tough, but I was resolute in delivering my best performance.”
Regarding "Deda", directed by Hema Shukla, the film will center on Akhil and his pregnant wife, Khushi. As Khushi nears her delivery date, complications arise, leading to a costly and urgent medical recommendation, while Akhil struggles to gather the necessary funds.
In addition to Shah, the cast features Gaurav Paswala, Sonali Lele Desai, and Mehul Buch in pivotal roles.
Turning to "Zyada Mat Udd", produced by Yoodlee Films, the show stars Shehzad Shaikh as Goldie KhuraGopal Bajaj (heir of Air Aasman airlines), Aishwarya Sakhuja as Shilpa Srivastava (chief flight attendant), Tanu Khan as Anu Arora Ahluwalia (Ranjeet's wife and Gagan's mother), Rewati Chetri as Liza Wangsu (flight attendant), Bhawsheel Singh Sahni as Chanpreet "Touchy" Chatwal (flight attendant), and Gaurav Amlani as Anees Rizvi (flight attendant), among others.
